03 — HIPS
This measurement allows us to account for the fullest part of your lower body and create a jacket that falls naturally without pulling, restricting movement, or sitting too tightly.
04 — SHOULDERS
Accurate shoulder measurements help us position the jacket correctly on your body, creating a natural shoulder line and ensuring the sleeves fall where they should.
05 — ARMS
Your arm measurement helps us determine the appropriate sleeve proportions, allowing the sleeves to follow your arms comfortably while maintaining the intended look of the jacket.
06 — LENGTH
Your preferred jacket length helps us determine where the jacket should sit on your body, ensuring the overall proportions look balanced with your build and the design you've chosen.
What If I Get a Measurement Wrong?

If a measurement seems unusual or we're unsure about something, we'll contact you before your jacket is made.
If you're uncertain while measuring, simply let us know.
A measurement you're unsure about is better than a measurement you're guessing about.
Can I Use a Jacket I Already Own?
If you have a leather jacket or another jacket that fits you particularly well, it can be useful as a reference.
However, different jacket styles are constructed differently, so we may still require specific body measurements to make sure your new jacket is proportioned correctly.

Do you have Small, Medium and Large sizes?
No. Alder Hide jackets are made using individual customer measurements rather than conventional S, M, L, or XL sizing.
How many measurements do I need to provide?

What if I don't have a measuring tape?

How long does taking measurements take?
Once you're familiar with the process, it shouldn't take long. We provide clear instructions and only request the measurements needed for your jacket.

Our team reviews them. If everything looks good, we'll proceed with the next stage. If something needs clarification, we'll contact you before production begins.
